Directions

 
From the South

Leave the M1 at junction 25 and take the A52 to Derby. As you approach Derby City turn right at “Pentagon Island” onto the A61 sign posted ‘Chesterfield, Sheffield. Carry on along the A61 until it meets the A38 at an island known locally as the “Little Chef Island”. Exit this island on the B6170 and travel through Little Eaton and Lower Kilburn, then at the traffic lights turn left (Rawson Green). Travel 0.7miles generally up hill and at the cross roads turn right onto Over Lane (sign posted to Heage). Travel straight on for another 0.7miles and take the first left turn onto Ashop Road and then first left again onto Blackden Close. Evergreen House is then the second property on the right hand side.

 
From the North

Leave the M1 at junction 28. Take the A38 towards Ripley and exit at the A610 junction (the Ripley exit) – basically turning right onto the A610 towards Ambergate.

At the first traffic lights take the left fork (up by the Excavator pub). Carry on up hill and then along the flat until you reach a T junction. Turn right onto Tenter Lane and travel down hill. As this flattens out there is a branch off on the left hand side that takes you onto Old Road past the Black Boy pub on the left. From this point travel straight forward for 1.7miles to Ashop road on your right. Turn onto Ashop Road and immediately left onto Blackden Close. Evergreen House is then the second property on the right hand side.

From the West

Travelling generally East on the A50 from Stoke join the A38 and at the island known locally as the “Little Chef Island” where the A61 joins the A38. Exit on the B6170 ---- now follow the directions as if travelling from the South.

Alternatively

If travelling East on the A517 from Ashbourne. Join the A6 at Belper and travel towards Derby. At the first island turn left onto the A609 (New Road) and follow the signs to the sports centre and then Openwoodgate. Once at Openwoodgate turn left onto Over Lane --- now follow the directions as if travelling from the South.

From the East

From Nottingham and junction 26 of the M1 travel West towards Ripley on the A610. Carry on along the A610 to where it passes under the A38. At this junction carry on along the A610 towards Ambergate --- now follow the directions as if travelling from the North.
