Planning the portrait Painting the eyes
The tiger is the largest and most powerful of all living cat species. Their camouflage is ideal for hunting prey in forest and grassland. The largest breed, the Siberian Tiger (also known as the Amur) can reach 2.75metres in length and nearly 300kg in weight.

Adding colour Painting the fur
Linda is actively helping her own and other charities working towards a brighter future for these and all Big Cats, mammals and birds.
Through excessive hunting and poaching , three species of Tiger have become extinct in the wild during the last 100 years. Ironically, some subspecies of Tiger are now far more numerous in captivity than in the wild.

Using a sword for the whiskers The final portrait
Tigers are mesmerising animals, truly one of nature's wonders. In this DVD, Linda shows you one more way to appreciate them.
In this DVD, Linda paints in Liquid Acrylic. The techniques employed can also be used for Acrylic, Watercolour, Gouache or Oil.
